That's definitely a 430 from what I can tell. It looks like he had a slow start and (judging by the smoke) was experiencing a lot of wheel spin.

There's no doubt that the Model S is fast but this was a horrible comparison IMO. The Model S got the jump and the M5 was experiencing massive wheel spin. Not to mention, even if the Model S happens to be legitimately faster to 100 (doubt this very much) the M5 will freight train the shit out of the Model S after 100 and keep pulling hard to speeds the Model S can't even do.

That Wald IS-F inspired diffuser is ridiculous!

I've seen a Prius driving around Hollywood with $900 BBS LM wheels and ultra-low profile tires on them...I don't think they understood the concept of efficiency.

Send a message via Skype™ to Mike Benvo
I helped jump start a prius a few hours ago... It was so dead that the alarm didn't even work...

After jump starting it stayed on in electric mode..

I don't get it.. lol

You think electric cars are slow?

I do think it's silly to make a car (that was built largely for economical purposes) look overtly sporting. It's completely contradictory and pointless. Effectively, it's like you are trying to be something you aren't. It's no different to someone sticking another brand badge on their car. By all means, everyone is entitled to pick any car they want, and everyone is entitled to mod it whichever way they want, but, have a bit of sense in doing so. Let me put it the other way, if you had a 458 Italia, would you put eco tyres and wheels to save fuel at the expense of performance?
You mean like "Auto Start/Stop" in an M3?

I can't believe that Smart hooked up like it did and stayed on all 4 wheels considering its super short wheelbase.
