Thoughts on sigma 50mm f/1.4 - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Im tired of my kit lenses on my t2i and was wondering if you've guys had used this lenses before and thoughts on it.

I've shot with all the canon EF mount 50's.. the 50f1.8mk 1 mk2, 50f1.4, 50f1.2 and then the sigma 50f1.4.

For the price, that sigma is a good piece of glass. The copy I had seemed to back focus.. and I've read some other reviews that lead to the same. A quick AF-microadjust by a friend and it was great. Eventually sold it for my current 50f1.2L

But I would go as far as to say that I liked the sigma 1.4 over the canon 1.4 for sure

I first bought my canon 50mm f1.4 for my t3i, loved the lens so much! I eventually upgraded from the t3i to the 5d mkiii and i still use the 50mm f1.4!! I've gotten so many great shots from it!

I know it isn't the sigma 50mm but it might be something to consider too

sigma 50mm 1.4 is a great lens

If you can get it then get it. I had it and loved it. Its neck and neck with the Canon 50L.
