If someone is driving drunk, I would understand if he lost control at some point, misjudged the position of his car, or anything like that. What I do NOT understand, is why drunk people think they can drive in reverse at 50 km/h. You can't do it while sober, so why the hell would you try it while drunk??

This is not a joke, is a matter of life and death. You don't punish these people, you actualy help them.

This is why in Europe the licence is taken with a Police officer in your car after questionaire test with a time limit, skills test in a special area (lateral parking, back parking , front parking, slalom car test, etc., day driving test as night driving test. If that will be applied in North America, we will have less accidents and less dumb drivers that hit our cars.

Irrelevant of just how bad of parking jobs I have seen in my life, theres no way a sober person would park this poorly. Typically sober parkers either don't back out far enough and take 10 minutes to exit a spot, occupy 2 spots, park diagonally, scrape the curb (guilt of this myself), or just do it slowly. This is an "alcoholic with too much to drink and downers on a friday night" type of parking.
