I think the humpback and dolphin are just playing...at least the dolphin is just playing. They're too quick to get broadsided by an angry humpback.

Here's a cool animation. We think of the sun as stationary, but it's really hurtling around the galactic plane very quickly. What's interesting is the orbital plane of the planets is 119* off of the galactic plane..
