Epic battle between a GT3 RS and a Viper at the Nurburgring

If you go to 6speedonline you have already seen this but if you don't you should take a look. This is one of the best racing videos I have ever seen. I guess it qualifies for this board because it looks like they pass a few M3s and a Lambo to boot. Enjoy!

I gotta say, value wise the 997 GT3 is amazing.

I was just on ebay and a 997 GT3 can be had for between 70k and 80k.

I'm thinking I may pull the trigger in a few years after we build the house.

porsche driver had more balls. to me, that's what it came down to. Seemed like the viper driver was a little cautious at certain times when he could of passed the 997.

With that said, this is amazing

That was some stellar driving on both drivers. Several times I thought the viper would pass but that porsche always appeared ahead! Except at the end! Haha

Close race. The Viper seemed to get c0cked blocked a few times, like at 3:14 by the E46 and at 6:20 by the Gallardo.

Porsche driver was more strategic, nice blocks to keep the viper in check. There's too much traffic on the track and not enough straights for viper to stretch its legs.

Porsche basicly just braked deeper and defended well. Great video.

I wouldn't exactly say that the Porsche driver had more balls, I feel like it's because the Porsche gives the driver more confidence in the road to push it more. Knowing the Nurburgring, it's quite a tight track and a simple mistake can throw you off the track.

+1 huge problem, there's not enough room for the viper do pass properly.

The Viper was glued to the ass of the Porsche. But the Porsche wouldn't let the Viper pass. Feels like your playing grand turismo or initial D by blocking your opponent from passing.
