Cut out carbs(big one) + HIIT training.

Its all about your diet. working out would be meaningless if you ate like shit.

low carbs, low fats (gotta know what fats are good and bad), increase your fiber and protein, Do Cardio and lift.
LOL seems healthy What are you going to suggest next, the HCG diet?

Make a life style change and it will come to you. Cardio is better in the morning, your metabolism will be higher while you are active for the rest of the day. Cardio, you need to do HIIT and just follow the rule of calories in and calories out. Get a tracking app for your phone.

Hi Ragingpanda,
Yes losing 10-15 lbs in 2 months is realistic goal and losing 8 lbs in a month is safe weight to lose. Break your meals in 5/6 small meals and add fruits and vegetables more in your daliy meals. Drink more water than routine and avoid beverages, soda and even diet soda. Avoid eating late and have enough sleep of 7/8 hours a day.

need2slin, OxyElite Pro, or Anabolic Pump. Need2slin is great stuff but shits expensive. Anabolic pump and OEP is my fav. Lost 15lbs in 2 mopnths after bulking cycle without losing my gains and it help me cut up.

when you make cardio , your body uses carbs as main source of fuel in the first 30 minutes then after the 30 first minutes your body starts to burn its fatty reserve . that's why cardio work out has to last at least 30 minutes if your goal is losing weight and has to be repeated constantly ( if possible every day to be effective ) .
of course your body will be craving for sugar and food after your work out but you have to be disciplined and avoid too much fat food & sugar .
don't starve yourself neither in the first days as the day you'll be reeating normally your body will jump on all the food you give it and will stock it as a prevention in case you starve it again in the future .

losing 15 lbs in 2 months is possible but requires discipline . key is regular cardio work out ( doesn't have to be heavy load , gentle cardio is also fine ) and balanced diet ( avoid fat , sugar , none total elimination but reasonable amount ) and you'll be fine in 2 months
Good advise

You can do 2-3 lbs a week if you eat healthy, count calories and be below 1800 for a guy and do cardio+resistance training 5 times a week. In 2 months you'll look a lot better!

Once a diet doctor told me use this formula to find the required daily calorie which will lead to loosing 2-3 lb a week:

[30*(your weight in lb)/2.2]-(1000 to 1200)
so for example your weight is 220 lb:
(30*220/2.2)-(1000 to 1200)= 1800 to 2000 cal/day

Plus have a cheat day every 10-12 days. That results in more fat loss as your body don't get used to low calorie diet and will have its regular metabolism.

Thanks for all the advice guys, really appreciate it. I did manage to lose 15lbs in 2 months by doing cardio first thing in the morning on a empty stomach 5 times a week, and eating smaller proportioned meals and avoiding the unnecessary stuff throughout the day. It wasn't hard, but it took dedication to 'start' the regime. There is definitely some excellent advice here for anyone who has a quick goal of losing some weight in a matter of months.

Yes cardio is the best for the weight loss purposes.
You should continue your cardio workout, you will get your ideal weight very soon if you do your cardio workouts regularly for the proper time period.

When i'm in a cutting phase, I eat my metabolic rate in calories (around 1800 calories) and just work out. Long periods of Low intensity Cardio in the morning, lift at night. Fat comes right off and the slow cardio minimalizes the muscle loss.

The worst part is actually doing slow cardio. Theres nothing worse than 1-1.5 hours and only going like 4-6 miles. But the fat comes out. Lifting will give you a metabolic boost while you're recovering that'll burn calories/fat passively, provided you worked hard enough and went to failure. Lifting helps you lose weight very well, contrary to a lot of popular misconceptions.

Carb starving yourself is never in the cards for me. I dropped 52 lbs in a year and after two years I've kept it off, while putting on lean mass and lowering my body fat % to single digits. All this without cutting out complex carbs (granted i don't eat a ton of it, everything in moderation).

Others swear by the Keto Diet (google it, it definitely works). I've tried it, and it definitely gets you shredded up (much like paleo), but I can't give up carbs haha. If you really must do it (I had to try it, since it nets serious results), let yourself off of it lightly and you'll still maintain shape.

Granted, i still drink heavily and eat badly on weekends, but I pay for it on monday and tuesday when my diet is ultra strict and i have to put in extra time on treadmills and at the gym. Worth it for the good times though =)

To lose fat:

1) Cardio (around 30 minutes a day)
2) Eat less than usual
3) Move more
4) Avoid sugars and microwavable foods (probably the hardest for most people including myself)
5) Drink only water but REGULAR coffee is still fine (not the crappachino shit from Starbucks)
6) Go to the gym and lift weights but don't exert yourself as you probably aren't a bodybuilder (this will get you toned as being skinny is almost as ugly as being obese)

It's going to be hard for the first two weeks but after that this regimen becomes a habit and you'll look forward to it, especially after seeing the initial fat loss.

ragingpanda, I agree to the suggestions of borabora which is submitted here. With all of its you must walk daily half an hour in the morning and half an hour in evening which would be helpful to loose your weight and also for your body fitness. But walking should be fast.
