Wood >> Brushed Aluminum Trim Swap Completed

This is one of my favorite modifications. I bought the brushed aluminum kit from Tischer/getBMWparts, it arrived with all the bolts and everything ... ~1 hr to swap. Anyone debating doing this, go for it.

Do they sell it as an entire kit or individual pieces? My driver's door brushed trim could use a replacement. Im 99% sure the previous owner had a lap dog or something. Looks like claw/teeth marks!

I thought of doing the glossy black plastic trim but I wanted the contrast of aluminum.

Thanks ... just get a 6MT next time, BMW seems to be keeping it around.

My door trim is also pitted... believe it's from the metal part of the seatbelt nicking it every time I unfasten the belt and let it return to its unextended position.

nice upgrade. Wood is nice for the older set; most people on the forum I feel prefer sportier cf, piano black or the alum. Looks great and props for not skimping with a wrap.

Mine is also like this from the seatbelt. I definitely prefer the brushed aluminum to wood. Good upgrade, OP!

I am in the same boat AW with a light beige interior. I have seen some folks wrap their trim in carbon fiber and piano black. It contrasts really well. Especially if you accent it with smaller things in the same color such as black floor mats etc.
