Am I "M" yet?
Complete M3 suspension upgrade to be installed
Already installed: Procede v5 and Procede PWM meth, HPF FMIC, Forge DV's, aFE intake, IS exhaust, AA downpipes. Still waiting for the RB turbos and waiting for a right price for LSD. Car still looks absolutely stock from the outside PS: Tisher forgot to put 1 quart of oil I ordered and instead they put two sets of M3 strut bars 12/6/11 edit I'm definitely an M now RB turbos are not pictured, they're already on the car 2/29/2012 update Ok so I picked up the car last night finally. I have very severe flu right now so only drove for under 20 miles but even those 20 miles were fucking scary * The DSC doesn't work too well with LSD it seems. Now that both tires are spinning the car thinks it's still all good and doesn't intervene. It seems that in stock form DSC looks for speed difference between both rear tires, where now it should also look for difference between front and rear. I know for a fact M3 has different DSC module, the next M3 I'll code I'm gonna see what ECU is in there. If it's the same thing then it's just a matter of flashing right firmware. * LSD. LSD makes the car GO. You've probably read plenty of the reviews already so I'll spare you some time. But if you are on the fence then don't wait and get one. * B&M short shifter is quite good. It's quick and precise. I'm just gonna replace my shift knob/boot with M3 one and I'll be all set. * Clutchmasters FX400. A lot of stuttering when starting from a stop, it will be challenging driving in traffic. The pedal is now softer and the engagement point much higher. I will need to get a higher clutch stop now. Granted there's only around 120 miles on the clutch since it was installed but still. Grips like crazy and handles my estimated 500 pounds of torque with ease. * M3 suspension - much more precise steering and very little roll. The car feels "tighter". Steering is also a little heavier now. * RB turbos - I posted a video of the car idling with them. I don't have a lot of comments right now since I only drove the car for so little but the boost doesn't come any latter than it was with stockers. Also it seemed to pull MUCH MUCH harder at lower boost levels. I don't know if it's the LSD or turbos just pushing more air volume. * Procede - The V3 and PWM are working flawlessly. The only thing is that the guy that test drove the car before delivering it to me said that at highway speeds the throttle keeps on opening and closing a little. I have not witnessed it myself yet but I'm pretty sure it's something trivial like boost leak or maybe something with the map, gonna call them in a few. Also still have to install NLS and 2step relay but don't have the info on how to do together with the PWM relay. I will post some more pictures and videos as time goes. 6/26/2012 update I broke passenger's side half shaft. Cage to be more precise. Axles were sent over to DSS for an upgrade Upgraded seats to black novillo leather M3 seats. Combo of black seats and red doors looks pretty neat Some videos: Last edited by onebadmofo; 06-26-2012 at 09:48 AM.. |

I didn't think you were going all out with your car...great work. It's exactly the course I'd be on if I had the cash. I think you'll need some stickier rubber (+ lighter wheels) to take advantage of all the added friction. Edit: 335is exhaust? Why not a PE or other setup? |

Very nice. I'll take the extra M3 strut bar set if you're selling.
