Official BimmerPost Photo Contest #28: Work

Official BimmerPost Photo Contest #28: Work
________________________________________
RULES:

1. Any interpretation of the theme that falls within Bimmerpost.com rules is welcome.
2. You must be the person that took the photo. Previous photos are acceptable as long as you are the one that captured the image.
3. One submission per contest.
4. Images must be no larger than 800px in any direction. Links to larger images are allowed but you must have one that is under 800px for the poll.
5. All contestants must host their own pictures (which includes hosting them on Bimmerpost).
6. All images must have a title.
7. While post processing in Photoshop is allowed, adding or removing parts of the picture is not. In the event a photo is suspected to be "photo-chopped," the contestant will be asked to provide the original picture.

THEME:
The theme is "Work." Take the "coolest" photo you can of what you or your coworkers do at your work place. If you're not employed and you're a student, change "work place" to "school" and "coworkers" to "students." If you're not employed and not a student, FIND A JOB. In the title of your photo describe what that is.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Entries must be submitted to this thread no later than Friday December 3rd @ 11:59 PST

This is going to be tough. Pics of my work will put viewers to sleep like a dose of Nyquil.

Cool theme- definitely not the usually ones. I like it!! Just to be sure, does "what you do at work" mean our job description or what we actually do?? lol

I feel ya. I'm an auditor. We just sit around and play with numbers all day long.

Try to keep it to what your job actually is, but I guess it wouldn't break the rules if you show what you and your coworkers actually do...I guess it could be funny too

Nice shot, Mike! (no pun intended)

Incidentally, I'm out for this contest.

What if your work doesn't allow photography because of security?

Twitchy can correct me if I'm wrong, but my interpretation is that it doesn't have to be a photograph from/at your work; just something that depicts what you do.

500-feet by dcstep, on Flickr

Here we are returning home from a meeting in Salt Lake. We flew over early in the morning, had lunch, followed by a meeting with a propect and then flew back to the Denver area that same day. Here we're landing at Centennial Airport in Centennial, CO. That's the CEO in the left seat and a corporate pilot in the right seat. The COO, me, is in back taking the picture as we land.

The plane is a TBN-850, a turbine powered, pressurized, single-prop plane that goes over 300-knots at up to 29000 feet, ideal for crossing the Rockies or hitting five cities in three days. We dry-lease it only as needed.

Are you in law enforcement or work at a gun range, or what?

Yup. Professional donut eater. I am in charge of all firearms training for my department. That shot is a .44 Magnum compensated Raging Bull from Taurus. It took a few tries to get the timing right, but I was pleased with the results. The bowtie shaped sparks are from burning powder hitting the forcing cone.

That's due to the tight fit of the cockpit, not any sort of other attraction.

I get to go to a prison tomorrow as part of my audit, and I really want to get a picture of me going through security being frisked, searched, etc. because it would be a sweet picture. Too bad cameras and cell phones are prohibited and I don't think the guards would find it very humorous to help out with the photo contest.

Goodness, more than three of us work, right? I'm surprised there's so little action so far.
