because someone in my area already had a M6 so i had to get this car to be unique and different. Without further to do here she is, got her September 1, 2010

sorry, but for me the R8 is such a ugly car. i never would buy on. there's so much better cars out there than the R8. (e.g. Porsche 997.2 GT3)

nope not at all haha. and to the other guy i personally love the look and there are some 911's around where i live as well, on top of that the Porsche dealership is a bunch of jerks (nicest way to put it) and i didn't wanna deal with them even their service are all jerks. I pay over 100k on a car and they don't have the decency to be nice? no thanks ill pass

Nice car OP, I love the R8. Doesn't photograph very well and certain angles are a little awkward but overall it looks great and has awesome presence.

BTW: the idiom is "without further ado"

I don't see why it makes that much of a difference, so what the guy down the street has an M6. Are we keeping up with the Jones's or are we trying to our run them?

If you really wanted the M6 you should have gotten it!!! Thats why we mod our cars! build it to satisfy your own tastes.
No matter who you are, no matter what you do, you will never be that different.

With all that said, I think the R8 is an absolutely outrageous car, in a good way. I'm sure its a blast to drive... Congratulations on the purchase.

I know looks are always subjective....but for those saying that the V10 R8 looks ugly, wow! That car looks gorgeous IMO, in person and in pictures. Great choice.
