Sound clip of my Bastuck catback, 330i

Hey guys,

I've got here a pretty low quality, and not much effort put into it, sound clip of my Bastuck. I made it because SOME members (GOOBY! lol) were impatient.

The exhaust has NOT finished burning in. the sound is still going to get louder and more pronounced.

I sounds great. Is that sound clip taken in from the inside, from the front, fronm the rear, sides? Mind doing a sound clip in motion=?

I will try to get some more clips done in a little while guys...

laptop battery is charging.

This clip is from the rear, revving in neutral.. I think one of my FAVORITE sounds on this thing is when I'm downshifting to a stop. cool tone.

I'll try to get some regular driving sound clips, just need to get the lappy charged and find a way to properly mount my microphone for driving.

sounds like stock just a little deeper note. It sounds good but overall I am just not inlove with the way the I6 sounds (it does sound good but not amazing) . Maybe I need to hear one in person with intake/exhaust.

what makes you think a video is better than a soundclip? you want to SEE the exhaust gases blowing out? I'm a one man operation here bud. I've got a mic attached to my trunk, recording the sound of the exhaust. I'm uploading some driving clips. 0-60, 0-90, normal driving.... I'll be doing some of the cabin noise later today

This one is a three and a half minute drive. (3:30i lol)

The wind noise kills the signal above 70. Sorry.

These sound clips sound prettty cool, but trust me.... the system sounds WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY better in person.

sounds great. Just few db deeper than stock. Many won't even think that is an aftermarket exhaust.

Exhaust like that should be offered as a factory performance option!!!!

not really sure I see what the big deal is. Not really an improvement in sound to me. I'm glad you're happy with it though of course. I like a little more anger in my exhaust sound. Plus exhausts on automatics annoy the hell out of me because its so obvious that the car is automatic. There's that little hesitation just before it shifts.

Keep in mind... this exhaust is not fully burned in. It is getting louder and more "angry". Also, I still have the post-cats. once those are deleted, my car will take on a distinctly aggressive sound.

ALSO. I drive in M mode. There is no "hesitation before it shift". You're talking about the drone while your engine lugs at 1900 rpm, before dropping 2-3 gears. I don't have that problem.

ASLO. WHO THE FUCK CARES if it's "obviously an automatic". You didn't want an auto. that's cool. I drive on the worst freeway in the world EVERY DAY. I didn't want a clutch anymore. My last THREE cars were stick. Very fun to drive. This one is a Step, and it's JUST as fun to drive.
