Fujita: Intake review
I just installed the fujita intake in my car tonight. I have to say the sound is great. Its loud and thats exactly what I wantd. I feel alittle better response but nothing that is jaw dropping. I didn't get it for performance I got it for sound and I am very pleased with. Also install was very very easy and took me about 15-20 min.

you should've just tied an anchor to the back of your car...would've been cheaper and i bet the sound would be pretty bad ass.

Lucid, no disrespect, but after the much publicized problem Hunter had with his Fujita intake, why did you go ahead and purchased it anyway?

be prepared for loss of HP. If you're in it for the sound, buy a civic and put a ridiculous muffler on the back.
Prepare yourself for A LOT of

I did do my research... And I know the problems that Hunter had. But that was him. If I do feel a significant loss than yeh I was wrong. But I wanted to see it for myself.
I hate to break this to you guys but not everything people say on the forum is 100% true. Its there personal opinion.

Lucid, it would be great if you could get your setup dyno'd with the OEM air intake and then with your Fujita.
The sounds can be very deceiving, and none of us should trust a butt dyno. |

I agree a DYNO would be good. But from my past experience Dyno's don't really show intakes that well. But I will try and get one anyway. I will see if they will let me put my stock on and then change it there again.
But there is another reason I need an intake and I want to see if it works first, before I say anything on this forum.

One more thing, didn't you have a hard time getting that flexible adapter--the one that attaches to the throttle body with the hose clamps--to fit? It has the same ingoing and outgoing diameter, which I did not like. Seemed like it might pop out if I hit a bump.

It wasn't that difficult. But I know what you mean. But with the clamps I felt secure. I have to say it was really really easy to install.

agreed that all on this forum is not 10o% true, but....
Hunter had a problem some other guy kept having stalling problems I think Calvino had a stalling issue with this intake.... I do like the cap and bag that it come with, though. And I'm too p*ssy to risk putting it on my car. Good luck with the intake, Lucid.
