damn this video is old, repost!!!!! The ending was faked by the producers, look at the part where the M3 crosses the middle of the highway and starts going the other way. The ending where that BMW "breaks down" is actually that scene just slowed down and cut right before he starts to turn. The kid actually got away.

no misinformation there at all, with the supercharged 240hp E30 m3

it's sad how the kid made the HP run off road and hit the guardrail with a "shoulder fake"

Sorry if it is dude- I didn't see it in a quick search... I don't think the end is fake... Anyway it is an old one but still fun to watch...

yea, they got the specs wrong for the e30 m3 on the video. us spec e36 m3 has 240 hp. e30 m3 has 195 hp.

i know ward mentioned in this thread that the car was supercharged, but that's the first time i've heard that.

the end is fake. the kid got away. he was arrested at a later time. producers faked the end to make the police look better.

Did any of you guys find yourself rooting for the E30 to escape/outrun/outmaneuver the police? (I did. And then I snapped out of it because the kid was being dangerously retarded.)

Regardless, it was funny how the Camaro couldn't stop in time and had to swerve out of the way before hitting the E30. And I didn't believe the narrator when he said, "a few miles away, the BMW breaks down and the suspect is caught". Good catch for spotting the fake video ending, T-MC-G.
