Houston, we have a problem

Boys, take your time pulling the car out of the lagoon, we don't want you to scratch that paint job (LOL).

i bet you could get $350k if you parted it out. LOL

The ebay ad will go something like.

2008 Bugatti Veyron - Salvage Title

Don't miss your opportunity to own one of these rare supercars for a fraction of what a new one costs.

Minimum Bid: $250,000
Buy it now: $475,000

*edit*
Just watched the vid. and man is that sad... I like how Randy from Randy's Wreckers pulled the car onto the trailer with the wheel. Washed his hands in the muddy water and then reached in the car to turn the wheel. I mean, the car is trashed anyway, but it makes me weep to see things like that.....

If I lived in Galveston and had enough money to own a Veyron I think I would use that money to GTFO of Galveston before buying the Veyron.

I thought it was a post about SPOTTING a Veyron in Galveston Lagoon. Didn't think it would be in the actual lagoon.

I can only imagine walking by and seeing the Veyron in the water.

Somehow all these emocons apply:

Haven't these guys heard of a tow hook?

Good thing saltwater and the ungodly amount of electronics on this car are a good mix.

I know of one member here who had a similar experience in recent past.
However, I don't recall him driving a Veyron.

He must be glad he did NOT

Hell with a price tag of the Bugatti, I woulda thought it could drive under water too...
I guess the dealer forgot to tell him he didn't get the submarine option.
