Just got my Bimmian CF intake

I came home from work today at about 930pm and I see a package waiting at my front door. I knew it had to be my intake. First off I would like to thank Chris at Bimmian for the top notch service. I was emailed all the time with updates on where my intake was. It even came to me a week early. Chris was geat and responded to my emails within 3 hours. I would highly recomend Bimmian to anyone. Do not hesitate to order from them at all. Customer service 10 out of 10.

Now onto the quality of the piece. The cf on the intake is 99% perfect. Even at the bends the weave is still tight and nicely done. It is extremy light but very strong as well. The clearcoat on the intake is spread evenly throughout the surface of the intake. It is very shiny and I cant wait to see it on my car.
Quality 9.5 out of 10.

I got it for 425 which seems like a decent price.
Price 7 out of 10.

I will hopefully install this tomorrow and give a review of the how it feels and the sound of it.

good news. Looks like I will be able to do the install today at work. I am working 9-9 again but a BMW tech is going to do it for me here at work. I will post pics and a review early next week.

They come pre-oiled. When I installed mine, it took like 15-20 minutes, its very easy.

I know first hand from my Celica GT-S. I had a CAI on it and if you were not carefull you would get CEL all the time. Luckilly I did not get it on my car but most people did as they either over oiled it or did not clamp a hose tight enough.

Ok guys I am going to take pics tomorrow as I am at work all day. I am very happy with the intake. The car seems to run smoother and the throttle response is a little better. Overall I dont really feel a gain in power. The sound is incredible after 4000 rpm. It really sounds good. If you thinking about getting it by it and you waill not be disappointed.

You don't need to work!

Now go home and post some pics! The gains are not noticable but the sound is when you stomp on and run thru the gears!
