If you could chose 5 cars and had all the money in the world...
This forum has been getting a little boring lately sooo...Let's start a thread.
If you had all the money in the world and could chose 5 cars what would you chose and why? I'll start off by saying that the first car I would chose would be the Aston Martin Vantage. That this is just plain sexy. Combine that with the agility of a porsche..Doesn't get much better . The second car I would chose would be the new S Class Mercedes V12. There is nothing that shows more class than a mercedes. RR Phantom, Bentley Flying Spur, ye there nicer, but they've become rapper cars. I want something classic and not showy for my luxury sedan. For my third car I would chose a Lamborghini Murcielago. Ye the Buggati's and Ferrari's offer better performance, but nothing turns heads more than a Lamborghini Murcielago. NOTHING! My fourth car would have to be the future e92 M3. I love the new bodystyle of the coupe, and honeslty an M version would just be sick. There is nothing like a bimmer, and it really is true. Finally, my 5th choice would be the Range Rover Supercharged. Forget the crappy LR3 based Range Rover Sport, the Range Rover Supercharged is a real luxury truck. That thing is sick, and its so solid and well built, my I cannot believe how Land Rover has turned around the last few years. Well, those were my top 5. Now let's hear some other peoples thoughts. |

BMW M5: This is about the biggest car I would want to drive. Anything larger and I would probably want someone else to drive me around in it.
BMW M3 (E90): I still need a smaller car that is practical enough to drive on a daily basis. Right now I think my 330i is perfect, but who wouldn't turn down 400hp? Porsche Carerra GT: This car is just perfect, it looks, sounds, and performs unlike anything else. McLaren F1: this would be the car that only gets taken out for special occasions. Lamborghini Murcielago: I have always liked Lamborghini's, so if cost was no object, this would also have to be part of the collection.

I'm real happy with what I have, but if money were no object I'd order an M5 now, and then I'd get the new M3 sedan when it comes out around '08(?) I can of course appreciate all the fine machines mentioned above, but I don't really aspire to own any of them. I just don't have a big enough ego for them any more. I enjoy owning the 2006 World Car of the Year.

Oooooo...I love threads like these!
Let's see, only five, huh? This is going to be tough Ferrari 612 Scaglietti I think lambo is kinda flashy. For my "ultra sports-car exotic" this is what I'd go with. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a lamborghini, but I think the ferrari would fit me best. It's not too flashy, smooth styling, 534 hp! Mercedes SL-55 I'm not a big fan of Mercedes, but this would definitely be my secondary sports car, for when I'd have to take my ferrari to the next state (the closest dealer) for any kind of service Hummer H1 Alpha I hate SUVs! But this is the last year for this monstrosity, and I've always loved the look of this truck (too bad the cheaper models sort of lost the military image and got GM-ized) BMW 325i I really think I'd keep my BMW as my daily sedan. I guess I could go up to the 330i since now I've got an unlimited budget (until I close the browser, that is!) 1962 Corvette I'd definitely have at least one classic hot rod in my collection as well, and this would be it! |

I think it's BS for anyone to have a 3 series (of any kind, even M3) in their garage of 5 cars with no budget
it's too much of a compromise car, great if you've only got 1 car, but with 5 you can get something more comfortable, something sportier, and something more luxurious |

I think they had the top 20 richest people in the world, and some had really expensive RRs and Bentleys, but the majority had Porsches as their sports car, and most had really inexpensive cars considering how rich they were...$30-40k. |

I would get a new 4dr M3 if they make it, but I need a nice small sporty car to drive that is still practical. i like the bentley flying spur but i'm not sure how fun to drive it is, wouldn't know.
