New intake from Britalman, ***DYNO NUMBERS INSIDE***

Okay finally real dyno numbers from an intake. My car had a completely stock engine before the intake (no exhaust ) so keep in mind that these numbers will increase even further with the help of a free flow exhaust. I also have an auto tranny with 20" wheels so the numbers are a bit lower compared to a manual 325I with 17" or 18" wheels. I was still impressed with the base runs and even more impressed with the intake runs.

The sound is amazing on this thing. It has a deep throaty growl between 3-4 rpm and it absolutely screams past 5rpm. Britalman is developing a full cat back exhaust system to go with this setup and I will report back when it is complete. As for the intake it is available through James @ Creative, you can PM me and I will give you the info.

i dont understand how the intakes in these engine bays can work better than the stock

it looks like the stock's comes right from the front of the car, providing the 'freshest' coolest air possible

the only thing i can really think of is its much much less restrictive, but i'm surpirsed the heat from the engine doesn't offset this

How much is it? And are they ready for shipment now? Thanks for the dyno runs! It is about time that a product is announced with some numbers to back it up.

Unfortunately there is no room for a cold air unit of course that would be ideal. The increase is partly suction and partly air temp.

We were able to measure the amount of vacuum suction in stock form and compare that to the vacuum suction after the intake install.

The stock box measured as 3%.
Britalman measured at 7%.

A cold air intake would be less suction but colder air. These dyno runs are proof that a good heat shield and an increase in suction are the keys to producing some good HP numbers.

I will ask James to Post the price on Monday.

As far as I know they are ready to ship now. Maybe if enough people are interested Creative will host a GB I will ask.

What's the difference between the blue and green curve. Also, the torque seems to be even higher than the 330i stock rated numbers. Are you saying this Dyno is from a stock configuration?

James @ Creative Autoworks is great, I get all my stuff from him. My Britalman should be arriving next week sometime, just ordered it from him along with an eisenmann sport exhaust, hamann eyelids, rogue engineering 15mm spacers and possibly the H&R Sport Springs.

Yes Britalman comes with the heat shield and is very simple to install, took us 10min.

I will have James post the Price tomorrow.

Hood up on all runs stock and non-stock. We only used the fan to cool the motor after each run.

Pretty sure the TQ numbers are to the crank and not the wheels, and HP numbers are RWHP.

oh why don't you upload a video as well? that way it can help us all decide, just a suggestion

I would post a video but I don't have a camcorder. If another forum member has a camcorder wants to meet up I would be happy to do that. Hunters car is louder because he has an exhaust.
