The guys at my local gun store/smith swear by them. He said, "They are better then Ed Browns and half the price($1700). We took one fresh out of the box and put 100 rounds of Blazer Aluminum thru it with a 2" grouping and no hiccups.". The gun feels great, the slide is smooth as glass and the trigger crisp and very responsive. Unfortunately, they didn't have a used one so I couldn't put any rounds thru it.
I have zero experience with them. Comparing a gun to Ed Brown is a strong statement, but none of the reputable shops around here carry Ithaca. Thats a strong statement too. I'd have to see one.

Those are sweet!

I LOVE that NHC predator i just got. If a scalpel could shoot, the NHC is how i would imagine it would feel when shooting.

I was looking at getting a T3 to replace my carry Glock 23. But then been looking at Ed Brown & Wilson Combat. Tough decisions!!

The P238 is comfortable after I added Hogue rubber grips and once I passed a 100 rounds through it. I will let everyone know about the P938 once I get to the range

They are a small manufacturer. They are in Sandusky, OH which is about 1 1/2 hours away. Supposedly they are completely handmade by only two guys. http://ithacagun.com/1911.html

Yep its a Spikes lower, had to wait a bit for it. Del-ton mid length upper and Yankee Hill hand guards. Shoots fantastic, very accurate with the EoTech.

My Ed Brown Special Forces was only 1900. For two hundred more, I'd probably go with them, but maybe not if I spoke to the guys at ithaca. Plus, their claim to the historical guns makes me skeptical. Did they just buy rights to the name or is it the same company?

Not bashing, just asking questions.

Yeah, brand names are not always what they seem. One of the reasons i'm keeping my original IMI baby eagle.

Not really my cup of tea. As a collectible that you weren't going to shoot, maybe. For a shooter, there are lots better choices out there, just look at previous posts in this thread.
