Well... I knew it would happen.
Getting an entry level HG tonight for easier range access.
(The one 2 exits away is indoor outdoor but only allows slugs from the SG).
So now we can go have some fun.

Am I the only one that feels like this when I disassemble my gun and clean it?

I bought some snap caps, and I've been sitting here practicing clearing the chamber and catching the casing lol.

Nice pick up.

Same exact gun I am looking to purchase once my permit eventually arrives in the mail.

I'm telling you man. I'm about ready to rid myself of all pistols that aren't a 1911 variant and replace them with ones that are! I had never shot one before and always wondered what the hype was about. One impulse buy later and i'm hooked.

I believe the Marine Corps just gave colt a contract for them to start building 1911's as their new sidearm.

Yep! 100 rounds of the Remington green box 115gr. Shot fine when I was shooting but my fiancée had a couple FTLs. I have a friend with the same gun and he said his doesn't really like the Remington as much as the Winchester White Box.

So now I'm looking to buy a little bit better quality ammo for the range. Anybody have any suggestions for better quality 9mm ammo for the range? I was looking into the Winchester 9mm NATO. Supposedly it's between a regular round and a +P, so I shouldn't have any issue shooting it a lot, but I'm want to be extra cautious with the gun.

Bought a 100 pack of Winchester 165 grain FMJ at Walmart today for $36. No issues here, I also shoot Federal when they have it, also works well.

That was after everyone on here told me Winchester and Federal was good.

Beretta makes nice firearms but it's nice to see a US Military side arm contract come back to a US manufacturer.

Damn nice looking pistol too!

Just picked up 2 boxes of 50 Federal 9mm rounds for $12 each from Walmart.
Great deal.
Hesitant to go winchester from my experience with their 12ga.

I saw some Federal American Eagle 9mm for $14 for a 50 round box online. Was going to buy a box or two to try it out.

I'm happy with their multi-purpose 12ga so I'm hoping their 9mm will be just as quality.
Check your store first since mine had the american eagle for $13 I believe

Well we've got quite a hard gun control law. I think at first you have to prove, that you would need a gun for shooting sport or hunting. Then you would have to get a certain license from the government which enables you to buy a gun at the store.
I am not too versed in this law, but i think it's difficult to buy a gun in the first place.
Then there are strict rules, which gun you are allowed to buy and which not. So you can't buy an automatic weapon for example.
