I like the P238 just because it's a mini-1911 The single action trigger is by far better than the LCP I've dry fired. But the manual safety is harder to disengage than my standard 1911s....no good for a CCW.

The LCP is cheaper than the rest and seems to be well regarded. Downside is recoil is harder than the P238 (reviews on the net).

Thanks to Blake, I've now added the DB380 into the mix. Looks good as a mini-glock. Some reviews have the trigger being mushy. Doesn't appear to have the unique grip angle of the standard glocks, which is good for me since I've built muscle memory with the grip angle on the 1911s. Blake, can you verify the grip angle? Thanks!

I'm going to a gun show in April and will probably pick up one of these bad boys there.
My bud just picked up a LCP last night, and we may take it to the range this week (or early next week). Feels like a solid (though very small) handgun.

9mm felt too... flimsy? For loss of a better work.

I like the kahr k40 as well.

Don't want to jump the gun yet (pun not intended) and buy a gun yet...
I prefer the .40 S&W cartridge as well. Seminole did not.

It seems to me that someone who actually owned a Beretta would know how to spell Beretta in the first place.

Think your the first I've heard call a Sig ugly. To each his own. Enjoy your Baretta.

Nice - what was the range / distance you set up on that target?

Its extremely addicting - anytime I go to the States I try to get to a range for fun.

We're not allowed CCW up here...even getting a firearm is somewhat restrictive - definitely much more so than in the US. In some ways I appreciate that a great deal...means its much more likely that the various numbnuts I run across aren't also armed (which, combined with their remarkably low IQ would present quite a threat), but I do wish we had more gun clubs/ranges up here and it was easier to own.

Oh well - there are many other good things in Canada that more than make up for this.

I'm not disputing the performance of the gun cuz I know it's a quality gun. I just don't like the like how it looks, that's all.

i'm going to. i don't typically lawyer up for tickets, as it's much easier just to go in and get on deferred, but this is a ticket in the BS category. i'm sure it's like shooting fish in a barrel nabbing people coming off the highway.
