Im really starting to think I made the wrong choice with all you bastards going stock

A huge reason for ordering my 335i was the fact that it was so easy to mod and get the power up. But now I see everyone going back to stock because they are fearful the warranty on the car will be voided. WTF!? Did someones warranty get voided because of his/her tune? Or is all of this speculation stemming from nowhere? Since when are people scared to mod? What the hell is going on people? I mean there must be a million people on here with all different sorts of tunes and I am not finding any threads saying "CRAP! BMW voided my warranty". This is starting to scare me and piss me off at the same time.

I know Dinan will cover any problems but still, isnt it like double the price of the Procede/AA/etc...?

Someone please make me feel better about ordering this car because I am starting to think I made the wrong choice!

If I could do over, I probably would've gone for an Audi S5.

Isnt it going to START at $60k? Not exactly the same price range as the 335i.

S5 still costs more and isnt faster than a stock 335i. It is a beauty though.

$70k + markup on those.

Not sure why everyone is comparing cars that cost so much more compared to the 335i.

Anyways, not everyone is going back to stock. Just most are being careful on what they say on these forums. So i doubt you will hear people talking about their tunes as much.

Not saying I have one...

If I could go back to December 12th, 2006. . . the day I sat in my BMW dealership and officially special ordered my 335. . . . . I wouldn't have. I would have bought a white Z4 M coupe or white S4.

It is your choice to join the bandwagon or not. Nobody is pointing a gunat you to buy the car nor forcing you to be stock. You are resposible for the choice you have made.

But comparing it to cars that cost 20-30k more is just silly. IMO

Plus there is maybe 3 owners here saying they got their warranty voided. Yet we have MANY threads of people who have tunes. Same crap happened on the Audi forums I was on when i had my A4. In the end... people still modded without warranty issues.

I can't believe this.
Do you realize how many people that are not going back to stock?
Do you realize how many people that are still enjoying every mod they have?
You are saying that everyone is going back to stock!
I know of 3 people.
Wow! That's a lot!

i'm with you. the only way i would do any mods to my car is if it kept its warranty. since only dinan really matches it and his mods aren't exactly cheap, my car remains stock.
