Changed Order... from 325xi to 330i

Well, my 325xi's status changed to En Route tonight. But it's not mine any longer. I got word last week that I'll be working in Manhattan permanantly.... so I'll be commuting via train the 30 mins from White Plains weekdays. That means my car is nights and weekends only, so driving in the snow is really not a concern. So I did the research and thanks to all of you and your great guidance I approached my dealership, BMW of Westchester (corporate owned) and said "I know my car is on the ship already... but things have changed...."

Well, they didn't say a thing... other than "No problem John... we'll order you up a 330i"

So, for LESS per month than my 325xi.... I got the 330i with all the same equipment PLUS Premium and PDC... That's right... LESS. The money factor is less on the 330i and the residual higher so the monthly lease payment is LESS.

Of course, I've been waiting for a month and a half for my first order and now I have to start from scratch... but it will be worth it I'm sure. So it begins....... again....

You've made a good choice. There are plenty of owners in this area with 330i's and sport packages that do just fine during the winter. With a set of snow tires, I have had no problems whatsoever in the snow. I frequently go to Orange County, NY on the weekends and I haven't had a problem yet.
