This is what division 1 football down south produces. Black or white they get treated like gods and people are surprised when this stuff happens. Just the 2014 version of Johnny Football.

Exactly. I imagine there are similar circumstances with basketball in the north, but I have no experience with it. SEC football is like a cult in some ways.

Yep, not really that different than basketball at Georgetown or U Conn.

You can find these examples at just about every major football program. Seen at just about every SEC school (I'm an LSU fan...) and in all the major conferences. No program is exempt from 18 year kids making poor choices despite having the whole world and a likely bright NFL future in front of them. I hope Winston gets his act together before he loses his chance at the NFL...
