they got hammered pretty hard over a lot of Bangle and van Hooydonk's designs.

Revolutionary design you don't like and conservative evolutionary design you also don't like. By the way: E46+E39+E38= Same saussage, different length, yet maybe some of the best BMW's ever.

The new F10 actually looks pretty good in person.

I'm going to miss the 1, X6, Z4 and the 3-series Coupe though.

I think we will remember Bangle with some fondness as time goes on because they age extremely well. Everything except the gone too far 6 Series and the mild E90.
