Rear LED Lamp Failure

Hi,

I bought a 325d M Sport E91 (2009) at the start of the summer and the left rear LED lamps have both failed. BMW have looked at this and have told me it’s not the lamps but a wiring or the control module problem. They have booked me in for two weeks time to resolve as will take at least two hours to fix!!

This causes me two problems.
1) Don’t really want the BMW rates for minimum two hours labour plus parts!
2) I’m driving illegally until fixed!

Therefore does anyone know of any decent independent BMW specialist in the Essex area or can anyone advise where the control modules is in the car so I can try to trace wires to take a look myself?

Thanks
Jon B
