Should I switch?

Posted this on Crackberry.com (http://forums.crackberry.com/f52/should-i-switch-32426/) but maybe I could get some feedback from the boys/girls here as well...

Heres my dillema:

My current BB is the 8320 with Tmobile and is basically the reason for my post.

While I am completley and utterly addicted to my phone, I HATE TMOBILE. At least in NYC.

I am thinking of making the switch to AT&T and getting their version of the curve, the 8310. I know I will be loosing the WiFi capabilities of the Tmobile version but I am willing to sacrifice.

This brings me to my question: For those that have had the Curve on Tmobile AND AT&T, in NYC, should I switch or don't waste my time?

Thank you all in advance.

Wise decision.
My father has the pearl, I can't stand the key layout, natural QWERTY is so much better. That and the BB OS on the pearl looks wierd, the screen is too small.

ALSO, this is huge, when you go to your contacts and want to find someone's name that starts with the letter V; it is impossible to do with the Pearl since C and V or on the same key. You have to type C and scroll down to V.

Agreed. It's a bitch. I'm about to break the thing. The key layout just annoys me.

If you don't use the WiFi much, and you really dislike the network, why not?

I have the 8300 for almost a year now.. nice phone. I can't wait for the 9000 series

I have had every blackberry ever made. The curve, peral, and even the huge ones. Now I have a Iphone, and will never buy anyhthing else. Blackberry's cant touch the Iphone in any situation. It is truly perfection. The only problem is that it has small keys so texting takes some time to get use to, but in every other situation form checking/sending emails to finding people in the phone book it is crazy perfect.

So in conclusion get AT&T and a Iphone. You can thank me later.

The iPhone is great for personal use, not business use. Regardless of whether or not it has enterpise support, the typing capabilities are simply unmatched. Blackberry is the leader when it comes to communication via email/text, theres gotta be a reason all Fortune 500 companies use them.

I guarantee you, that you will not see an analyst from Goldman Sachs using a iPhone to answer corporate emails. He might use it to watch porn though, after the market closes ofcourse.

They only use blackberries because it's the only option.

BB> iPhone IMO. iphone is not functional for the business world in any means.

I have the 8830 and love it. While some say it's huge, it is very thin so that makes up for the size.

I had the pearl, and they keyboard layout for the amount of emails I do is just unrealistic. As goes with the iPhone.

GL with the switch
