Need advice on a birthday gift for my wife...

Damn it...

I've run out of idea's. I feel like I've exhausted all efforts and I struggle to come up with something somewhat clever.

I was going to just take her to a nice dinner and then buy her a day at the spa for her to relax...but I feel like it's a shitty gift. Nothing grand or super thought out...

Any neat ideas from anyone who's been in the same situation?

Will be a major fail...have tried before. Was not well received...she didn't think there was anything exciting about my dick in a box :-(

How long have you two been together, not married, together? Think of a special moment during your dating that put her in a good mood weather it be a place you went to, something you did etc... and re-create it... something. Another good thing women like are photo sessions. I setup a pro photographer to shoot us on our anniversary last year, she loved it.

What is she into? What's your budget? Does she like pretty shiny girl things, e.g. a pair of Louboutins or some jewelry? A spa day and a dinner would actually be a great gift (imo, although I am a girl and I really love food), but I think coupling it with an additional gift (doesn't have to be huge) would make that even better.

A photo scrapbook is also a good option. It's thoughtful and shows you put some time into it. I use shutterfly to make them.
