I think I am doing administration of some kind like logistics department or something. Supposedly am suppose to be in contact with every department in the company and make sure everything is operating smoothly. I only "Think" because so far, I did nothing lol. Honestly id rather have a lot of work than no work and make up work, its just sad.

I understand what he's saying. I also can't sit around and do nothing. I have to keep moving or I bore to death.
Irregardless of being paid or not, I'd say your company is probably quite large to forget about you in a sense.

Now about that signature line you have Nkc... lol

Wow that's not a lot. I manage about 80 people and I know who's doing what for the most part so your boss must not care much or has too much to deal with; internship being an afterthought or something lol.
Well you're getting paid at least. Maybe ask if there's more you can provide to your employer and get some brownie points in there.
Maybe that internship can turn in to a permanent hire

Yeah most companies in Taiwan are small and I believe everyone is over worked here. I talked to the people in my department and they usually stay overtime without pay to get everything finished and done. Everyone around me is also constantly doing stuff and when I ask them they said they have nothing for me lol... not even printing machine duty haha

I've never been paid over time on salary job. Maybe hourly job at Box sporting good stores.

As long as you get paid.
Some of employees and managements are really lazy, and doesn't tell new hires, trainees, or interns what to do.
Those same managements are ones who expect you to pull a rabbit out of your a ss too.
If someone had that kind of skills, they would not be working for others.

Meh, appreciate the free time while you have it! Surf the net, learn as much as you can about anything random. Learn a new skill/ program online. Are you a photoshop pro? Take pics of your car and play around with editing all day! Hahaha

If I was in sales or marketing or something like that I could get creative but Im supposed to answer emails, forward emails, linking all the departments, and make sure everything is on track. No one emailed me or called me yet and dont know how I could be creative in this position lol...

Hmmm does your office already have a nice document that explains who everyone is and what their role is? Create something with everyone's title, their job responsibility and/ or task, their contact info and maybe even a profile pic?
Or how about a fun office newsletter? Highlight some random people and ask some non-work related questions. Make a word search game with work-related words.

They do have that document explaining everyone but no pictures. I think it would be weird if I walked around and took pictures of everyone lol... We have four separate buildings.

so somewhat to further bimmette's post... learn. you can always find a way to learn. load up your phone, usb, email or whatever full of PDF documents or e-books, copy them to your computer and read the day away. the time will go by and you're extending your mind.

it's less obvious than reading this forum too since it's PDFs or whatever.
