Yeah so maybe the original did the same...but that'd be like bringing back Magnum PI and having him drive a Lambo instead of Ferrari, although still a nice car, there's just something wrong about it...

That's the Shelby GT500KR (King of the Road) 540hp. Sweet ride, but will be pricey.......for a mustang.

Very disappointing! KITT should not be a Ford Mustang. Even the new Chevy Camaro or Dodge Challenger would have been better choices!
