Just finished installing 10.6 Snow Leopard.

I am with you man. So far, so GREAT!!

Shutdown and sleep are almost instantaneous. My Macbook Pro feels WAY snappier. Stacks are nicer ... So much to check out and find.

Will report more later on.

ahh wtf! I just updated my macpro and the colors are weird. My dock looks soo unsaturated. I know the gamma is supposed to be 2.2 now but that makes it darker with more contrast but it has done the opposite on mine. Anyone know how to fix it? I don't wanna calibrate my monitor cuz everything else looks normal.

fuck this is the gayest thing ever it made little snitch crash and half my shit doesnt work anymore! biggest mistake ever should have never upgraded

Try this:

System Preferences -> Displays -> Color -> Calibrate

or just try one of the different profiles.

You've got nobody to blame but yourself for this one. This is the price "early adopters" often face, but in this case it could have been prevented:

I did nothing changed.. its the system colors that are messed up. bimmer post and every other site looks the same.. the dock looks weird.. here's a screenshot..

Lol not on mine.. All the stuff I made it photoshop before look lighter now.. Not worth 50 dollars.. Can't even work on it now

Try this again:

System Preferences -> Displays -> Color -> Calibrate

This time set the gamma settings back to 1.8. See if that helps, it's easy to change back.

I tried that I even tried calibrating it again. Nothing happened to the dock. It stays the same..

Re installed snow leopard and the colors are normal now.. I read somewhere that it washes out when you put it to sleep and gets stuck that way soo no more sleep sleepy for this one lol

I love Little Snitch. I ordered Snow Leopard but I'm going to do a separate install. I won't make it my main OS until all the apps I use are updated.

lol ya did a new install and it works right mostly.. I'm sure an update is in the works..
