Do people stare at you while you're driving?

The 3 series is generally a car that flies under the radar, even the M3. I've never had anyone stare at me, unless they pulled up next to me at the light after I cut them off.

I always laugh at that too. I have friends that have sub 3-second cars. I ask them what the point is? So you can merge quicker on the highway? Switch lanes quicker when you're stuck in traffic? Back out of a parking spot faster?

Let's face it: there are no "slow" cars out there anymore. Hell, even the lowly 328i does 0-60 in 5.7 seconds. PLENTY.

Yeah, like 4.6 is slow?

Less than 5% of new model cars on the road are capable of breaching 5 seconds 0-60 even now. That's pretty quick.

this car even on street tires will go 4.0-4.2....

my RT is the slow POS...it can only go 5.3...

this car even uses a dated 5speed AMG transmission with shitty 3.06 gears...

For some reason people only seem to stare at me when I'm stopped at a light with the windows down drinking from a juice box.

Any other time its all good.

And my point was that 4.6 seconds isn't what I would term "fire-breathing". Its fast, I didn't say it wasn't...its just the terminology used which made me chuckle.
