RIM Fail: Blackberry outage across North America, all carriers

Got a call from RIM about 45 minutes ago, all of their stuff is down. So if you have a Blackberry you're not going to be getting mail on it for a while.

Its terrible right now. I can't blackberry messenger any of my friends or get emails... and I have AT&T, but this seems to affect random users on all carriers.

btw, how long is "for a while"?

It was working fine until around 4:30 pm PST. Now, I got 5 outgoing e-mails that are stuck in my outbox

at&t has been on a very very sharp decline primarily because of the iphone and it's uncompressed data.

Well this answers why I haven't had any emails come in since early this afternoon. I would normally have 10-15 in that time frame.

My iPhone and BB are almost identical tbh in regards to service.. but then they are both AT&T lol
Though my gf's T-Mobile iPhone sucks balls in regards to service and sound quality...

I love BBM; if the iPhone had one as big as BBM, I'd have just kept an iPhone (Ping sucks)

Its back up now for AT&T at least. Its still a little slow and bbm doesnt send ALL messages but its better than nothing I guess.
