This was my first year and I had a great time. Wasn't going to let the rain get me down!

I swear every time I watch the Thunderbirds I become 7 years old again, dreaming of being a fighter pilot. Reality is a cold-hearted bitch

Looks sweet. Where and when was this? I was in New Symrna beach last week visiting the grandma, would have went if i knew about it.

They hold it in Lakeland every year at the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport. I don't know if they change the date each year, but this year was March 27 through April 1. The grounds are MASSIVE. Attendance for the day I was there was estimated near 800,000, and they have had well over 1 million in previous years.

Amazing ... great pics, thanks for sharing. I have seen the Thunderbirds several times and they are a real treat. Love it.

There used to be a few airshows near me but they all went away in recent years.

That's what I love about Florida. They are all over the state every year, and the drive is worth it wherever they go!
