Long story short, I've had a handful of cars since college and traded in my 996 for an a6 when I found out my wife was pregnant. I carried 8k negative equity and after saving a bit of money I paid down the a6, up popped a manual sedan with 50k miles. Pending credit approval I'll be in this car after service and getting cleaned up - it was traded in yesterday.

I'm stoked. Can't wait to get a jb4 or Cobb tune and maybe mess with the exhaust. Not too many mods enough to have fun but still put our daughter in the car with no issues.

Wait I need to also add: Buy a Charge Pipe. It doesn't have to have a BOV, its can still use the OEM diverter valve. But buy it. I just cracked mine today and my car is gonna sit till I can get an aftermarket one.

HA! Spending my money early eh? Unfortunately I have to pass visual and OBD II inspections so if I DO GET downpipes they'll be catted. I really just want some go and a louder exhaust note. FMIC is on my list, too... I just got an email saying I was approved so here goes nothin!

Picked this up last night. The car is great. Got a 3 year 36k mile warranty so this will cover me for a while - $250 deductible. This thing is a dream to drive. Plenty power, stiff, and thankg God I got a stick. Pics to follow

Pic of the front. I absolutely love this car. I'm looking to get the jb4 sooner than later. Debating on whether downpipes or the FMIC should be done first - after that. I picked up the "xcat" from CP-e for when I eventually get downpipes.

Not sure what all comes with the sport package but definitely sport seats and I believe the sport steering wheel.

I thought it was low AF when I went to drive it. The car runs like a top. As soon as the wife yields I'm getting the JB4. I'm looking for mtech pedals but I don't want the ebay ones if they are cheesy or fitament is correct...
