However I didn't manage to code the Alpine Retrofit changes. I added HO-Wort Hifi with the FA-Editor but I don't have a clue how to manipulate the FP. Can anyone help me? |

There is no "manipulation of FP".

Massive thanks for that, I've successfully coded everything I need to except the HU NBT2, I can read it and edit it but when I try to save it E-sys runs out of memory. Running E-sys in high memory and on a laptop with 16gig so definitely not an *actual* memory issue. Could it be that I'm running 3.24.3 instead of the latest one? If not, how can I get the last few bits sorted?
Cheers! |

Java Memory does not use all available memory from Main PC RAM, so 16 Gb is not relevant either. I would try increasing your Java memory pool as described here: http://www.wikihow.com/Increase-Java...y-in-Windows-7

There are a lot of posts about coding and i think this f30 community is awesome. Have been a great amount of help thus far ..
My questions is as follows, in all higher end cars and newer cars, the headlights and welcome lights stay on for a certain amount of time after the car is locked so that it is nice and bright when you walk away I have read that if you turn of the car completely (press start button twice) then open the door and flash your head beams, this feature will be activated and the lights will stay on for the amount of time specified in your iDrive. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN CODE THIS TO BE AUTOMATICALLY DONE?? I feel like it makes no sense to take an extra 2-3 steps when u leave the car to activate this option. Again to clarify, i would like the lights outside the car to stay on for a specific amount of time after i lock the car without any additional steps. My dads basic Camry has this option for gods sake !!! lol |

Hi Shawn,
The dealer updated my car's SW this week and now I can no longer code. Can I get the latest files, please? Also, can I still use the old E-SYS SW and the token or do I need something new? Thanks a lot! |
