Battle of each Forums

sigh, funny thing about these forums i find out today.

Okay, since i'm going to be a A3 3.2 owner soon, i decided to take a look at some Audi forums. I came across a few threads about how Audi owners think buying an Audi is the correct choice. Basically i can summarize it into a few points that they like to use often, to hurt BMW owners.

Those Audi guys said how they test drove A4 2.0T, and 330i. They basically said the interior looked better, backseat was bigger, and the driving was superb. Hmmmm... i thought to myself, "that guy must be joking", i mean, the interior part i can understand people like fancy stuff instead of bmw's clean and simple designs. The backseat i'm not sure about the size, but i'm guessing the difference isnt' too big. The driving was the funniest part and i acutally laughed my ass off. a 2.0T, with the engine sounds louder than 3000W speakers, and the turbo makes the car shake greater than my subwoofer, and the handling, i dont' think i need to say anything more with all these E90 owners here.

Ooo, and one guy said he choose Audi over BMW because he thinks BMWs are for richasses and Audi are for people that got style and taste or something. Man, i drive a BMW but i ain't no richass. At least i hope i was one. Funny how when he said that, everyone agreed with him,

I'm pretty sure those guys are either still L drivers, or they're jealous that more people choose BMW.

Anyways, that was some interesting thing that i came across today....... except when i almost hit this jay walker today, haha...another funny story

Why are you switching to Audi? For the money you will be spending on the A3 3.2 you can get a 325I.

Um, i have a 330i already, i dont' want to buy the same car. And basically i choose 3.2 over 325i cause i need AWD, and 325Xi is too high for me. A3 3.2 is lower and comes with a body kit, and basically faster too i think. And i just want to try some new cars

Ps. I'm not advertising for Audi, just my perosnal opinion

audi=VW

yeah, um.....

anyone who thinks any audi can hold a candle to a bmw in the handling department should stop huffing the gas from whipped cream canisters. Either stop huffing or if they actually learned how to drive then they'd know.

Audi's a nice car, if you're not in a hurry, and don't enjoy driving

I gotta chime in on this one. I waited for the A3 3.2. I drove the 2.0 and was not impressed. After I drove the 3.2 I came to the realization that quattro cars do not feel "planted" when driven. When I drove moderately hard the rear wheels were all over the place. The DSG tranny however is very hot!

Also I had the pleasure of owing a '04 S4 that threw a valve with 300 miles. The dealer and VOA were less than cordial when it came to giving me my cash back (6 months!).

I am probably going to pu a 330xi later today. It is about 10% more than the A3 3.2 but I feel its worth about 50% more especially when its time to get out of it.

I never quite understand the competition between auto brand owners, although it has been around since the first "my chevy is better than your ford" argument broke out in 1924 or something.

There are very good qualities about many cars, and each has some drawback. The purchase decision is about finding the car that best fits your needs and budget at the time. If you need is the prestige of a badge then you will look for BMW, MB, Audi, etc. If not, you might look at those and also VW and Honda, etc.

Audi's are very nice cars. I test drove one when I was looking to trade my MB a couple years ago and I just found it too noisy. Ended up buying the VW Passat W8 - which I traded for my current E90. I think the A6 is one of nicest cars made.

Forums like these are designed to bring people together with common interests and similar tastes - so it only stands to reason that on the E90 forum people will agree the E90 is best, and on an Audi forum they will agree the A4 is best...

I test drove the new A4. It's a nice car and you do get a whole lot more standard options. It just didn't have that sporty feel. The car also looked a little to feminine.

By standard options would that happen to include floor mats? LOL

i agree. i considered the A3 myself and had really strong feelings about it because i really love smaller, compact vehicles (like the golf) and since the 130i is not available here, the A3 was my next reasonable choice. until i test drove the 330i, that is. as small as e90 is compared to other luxurious sport sedans, it's still a huge monster to me.
