Protecting car for a long drive
So in a couple of weeks I'm going to be driving from WA to AZ. It's about 1500 miles and I've seen when people go to car shows they tape the hood and bumper of their cars to stop from rocks chipping the paint. I want to do that but I'm not sure what kind of tape it is. Please help!
Thanks!

it is just called painter's tape. They come in all different colors but blue is most common.

Does it ruin paint or leave a goo behind?
