When will the first sales report for the 328d come out?

Having just received mine, I'm very curious as to how the car is selling in the U.S. Anyone know when we might see the 3-series sales figures broken down by model number? I'd guess we wouldn't see anything on the 328d until the fall at the earliest, after it's been released for a year. Maybe not until early 2015...

I'd like to hear your comments on your new wheels as my 328d Xdrive is currently between Southampton UK & Halifax on the Independence II.

Might be an interesting thread to share experiences on the initial ride(s) and how they progress ---NICELY~
Just a thought.

So far I'm very happy with the ride. I was expecting to be underwhelmed by the 180 hp especially for passing at higher rpms, but I'm not. If I need a little extra pull I just put the shift stick into manual and drop down a gear. The handling and road grip is just fine, especially with the 245/40R19 Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position non-Rfs I put on the car. I havien't been able to break the car loose yet. The car absorbs road imperfections like a pro yet turn-in and grip are good (all that improved when I swapped out the RFs). I don't have any great complaints about the steering, but it's not going to match my E30 for road feel and feedback, nor would I expect it to.

I was assuming I was going to install a piggyback ECU to boost the engine a bit, but now I'm not so sure. I'll have to wait and see. Same goes for the installation of springs. I like the drop and chassis feel on the car now and I don't know if I'd be motivated to drop $400 bucks on a set of springs from H&R or Dinan.

All for now...

Thanks for the commentary.
When you took off the RFs, did you swop them onto the OEM wheels, or did you pick up an extra set to mount them on?

The 2.0d here in the UK comes in two variants:
320d - 180bhp
325d - 211bhp

Is it not the same in N. America?

Not here (N/A -USA)
I do not remember if we are getting the 325d or the 320d badged as a 328d. Somewhere either in a diesel thread, or in an online search afew months back, I read about it.
Not sure about the HP rating so I don't want to give out misinformation.

We get the 185 hp version (difference in measuring systems), labelled as a 328d.

I think that answers your question. VMR 721 Gunmetal wearing 245/40/R19 Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position (Max Summer). The OE wheels are now for my winter tires.
