Daily Multi-Vitamins

What brand do you people use? I'm looking to change to a new multi-vitamin and would try what some of you guys like..

Please tell me what you use and where you get it, and thanks in advance.

Centrum, I forget to take it though, maybe like once a week. LOL

I also take some flaxseed oil for dry eyes.

I take a high B content multi, a once a day fish oil capsule, a COQ10, and a regular strength plain aspirin every day. Except for the aspirin they are all Nature Made brand. I also drink a lot of Pure Premium OJ with 100% pomegranate mixed in. W/O @ least 4 times a week. All of this to hopefully offset the beer, the cigarettes and the bar tramps.

I like GNC Mega Men quite a bit, but it's expensive. I usually buy that or when I'm feeling a little cheaper I'll get One a Day for men. I can't say I feel a difference when I take them or when I don't that much, I always felt good when I took the GNC ones, but then again that could all be in your head too (and I was in better shape )

I get the store-brand multivitamin for men. Just about all of them have nearly the same quantities of the same compounds. I doubt they're anything like certain drugs that aren't as bioavailable or bioequivalent, so why pay extra for the same thing?

I've been taking Centrum Cardio every now and then. Its got some cholestrol reducing shit. The only downside is you have to swallow 2 of those large pills daily. I don't know why but these multi-vits get me all edgy (and hungry)

One-a-Day Men. When I'm working out hard, I notice if I don't take it. When I'm not pushing as hard, I don't really notice anything. Could be the fact that I drink a lot more water when I know I've taken my vitamin.

I've heard arguments about when to take them. I generally take them right before bed along with my prilosec then drink about 24-32oz of water. That just means when the alarm clock goes off I'm not hitting the snooze button as I really have to piss.

Guys really shouldn't be taking any multi-vitamin containing Iron. Unless you're iron deficient of course.

I've taken:

Men's One-A-Day (highly recommend)
Vitamin Shoppe's Ultimate Man's Elite (Currently taking, highly recommend, but only on workout days. if curious why, just ask)
Going to try something else next time, probably just the regular VS Ultimate Man's.

Never used them, but heard a lot of good things about Orange Triad. But only for very active and avid gym goers.

thats what i think too. i just dont really feel a difference when i take them or dont but i DO eat very healthy as ALL of my meals are home cooked. I have not eaten a fast food meal in like ten years. I only eat out like two to four times a month and when i do eat out its very healthy meals for the most part.

I also take Vitamin Shoppe's, so I would like to know why only on work out days.

I just found these on line. Highest ranked men's daily. It said they dissolve in the small intestine vs the stomach. Thus giving your body much more absorption. Hmmm.

I took Men's-One-A-Day Multi-Vitamin and went through a whole bottle.

It tasted like the inside of a moose's asshole, but I did feel better throughout the day. It made my piss bright green, regardless of how much water I would intake. After an entire bottle of them, I switched to GNC's Mega Men Sport, which also aids in protein synthesis and it slightly expedites my metabolism.

The GNC's MMS (Mega Men Sport) is to be ingested twice a day... once after breakfast and once after lunch. They taste pretty good... compared to Men's One-A-Day. I think they are very lightly coated with something that tastes like Cocoa. Not bad for a pill at all! The ingredients in the MMS are fantastic if you are looking to get stronger/healthier.

One thing that someone mentioned is that they get nauseous when they take Multi-Vitamins. That is to be expected if you don't follow the instructions! You have to have some food in your system!!! Else when the pill is trying to be digested, the contents will stick to your stomach lining opposed to being digested with any sort of meal... thereby making you feel like you have an upset stomach. I have been there too.

Just make sure you eat SOMETHING before you take any Multi-V. You will feel great all day.

I plan on sticking with GNC's MMS, because for 30-some dollars I get 108 days (216 capsules) worth of Multi-V that doesn't taste bad. Hell yeah.

If there are any questions, I'd be happy to answer,
-Chris
