Wow! Sharp1183, sorry I didn't know you "invented" the VW thread. I didn't know it was such a crime to accidently post the same thread. I actually thought it was clever, and had a good laugh.

Sharp1183, I should apologize. I shouldn't have assumed you were making a negative comment towards me. My apologies!

I do think the commercial is funny though. I agree to an extent that there are some German Car Owners that use their cars as status symbols etc. However, I got the car for the sheer thrill of the ride. I'm sure you can agree with me there.

I didnt even know what the commercial was about until I actually listened to the words. Still wouldnt buy a VW though. haha

I wonder where this ad leaves their Audi, Bugatti, Bentley, and Lamborghini brands? Or what Porsche would think now that they have a stake in VW

I don't think this will affect Porche's sales by one car...
