bring beef jerky and red bull, especially if you're going alone.

I drove for 12 hours without stopping for anything but food and piss, twice (once each way, lol.) It's an experience.

You'll be fine. I love long drives. Are you taking your 335i? If so you'll love the drive even more. A few weeks back I took my dad's 330i on a 8 hour trip to Knoxville(each way) cuz I didn't want to put the mileage on my ride. It was the best drive ever. I could speed w/o being told to slow down by a side-seat driver and could stop if and when I wanted.

Also about the Dallas game, if you are taking your 335, are you serious that you don't have sirius sat radio!?!? If you don't then sucks for you.

I loved my blackberry for sports updates. You would just put your fav team in and it did everything else for u. I now have the iphone as well, the only way i get updates is to go on espn.com, pick your team, and keep hitting refresh.

I did a 9 hour ( I think..Boca--> Tallahassee) straight with no bathroom breaks after working at the state senate from 7-6, wasnt a bad drive, kinda enjoy them at night, very peaceful and soothing.

14 hours is a very long trip. Take breaks whenever you feel the need to.
Enjoy...

24 hour drive from Ft. Meyers, FL to Middlebury, VT for a sick NYE party, long ago.

17 hours from Richmond, VA to Nantucket (including ferry), 2 hour stop for dinner.

15 hour drive from VA to Key West, Spring Break.

Many, many overnight drives from CT to VA, home to college. No traffic at night.

Bring some cigars, rotate drivers. Keep everyone sober, less stops. Lots of tunes. Caffeine pills, avoid caffeinated drinks (fewer piss stops). Avoid ultra-fast driving (100+), in the Suburban, cheaper and safer.

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
