CL600 V12 surprise.
I'm cruising to work here in Miami on the 836E right in front of the airport (for you Miami folk). I'm trying to get to the right lane sine my exit is coming up... I'm about 1 car length ahead of a black mercedes. From my quick glance I figured it was a CLK350 or something. As I speed up a "BIT" to try and switch lanes, this dick sort of follows my flow. When I taper down and let him pass, he doesn't. WTH I do not want to break and merge behind him since its morning rushhour and I have other drivers behind me. I step down and pass him (I'm really lovin' my PROcede), and quickly merge to my lane... half a mile down the road I figured that was the end of that little run in when all of a sudden I see the black mercedes get to the service lane (very narrow lane which allows for broken down cars to get out of the way) and quickly jump in front of me. As soon as I see his badge and his entire car I notice its actually a CL600 V12. I was surprised. Not because I thought I raced him and owned, but because this dick acted like a moron over a 3 series driver who god forbid needed to get into the exit lane. I used turn signals on my first attempt might I add. So after some quick swears and some fascination (it is a very nice looking car with some impressive numbers) I see this dick get pulled over.
Turns out there was a state trooper waiting to catch drivers who ride the exit lane just to merge back into traffic at the end so that they don't have to wait in traffic. He saw everything I assume. God I would love a CL65 AMG... Hell I'd die for a CL500 or CL600, i dont care. |

If only it really was a kill. I think he just didn't expect me to suddenly jump it... Those High displacement mercedes are real high speed cars. They can pretty much pull form any speed. Either way, I'm glad he got pulled over, even if it was for another issue, he got what he deserved.

I assume you're being serious, but if that was sarcastic it's cool.

My dad has an SL55 which I have ripped around in just as hard as my 335i coupe (stock) and I can deffinetly notice that his car would 100% pull hard on mine, but all of this talk about the PROcede being a huge difference than with that in my 335i I think it would be pretty close. Off of the line I dont care what I would have in my 335i, the SL55 would killllll it. I made a couple 0-60 runs in that thing and I looked like this . Mike.
