I got ya. I did a shopping search the other day, and noticed since then that some little building like icon appears still on my map. Gonna try a different search today, see what shows up....LOL

Thanks for the answer ... now, does anyone know how to get the gas stations to overlay on the map? I know it's possible but cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it...

I'm not sure if they could have made it any more difficult if they tried.
You've got to leave the map, select a new destination (I don't want a destination, I just want to see things around me!), pick information, go through like 5 layers of menus to guess which category they put the topic in, then navigate back through 3 layers of menus to return to the map view with the icons on it. Hope you're not driving while doing any of this! There's gotta be a better way. What am I missing? Are there voice shortcuts for this? |

"Info Menu"
(then go manual to select "On Destination" or "on Location" and then POI type) You can get back to your last map view with "Map" I can't find the voice command for enabling / disabling POI display, but thats easy to do from the left hand column of icons. |

I tried this tonight. "Info menu" takes you to the car settings, as if you pushed towards the floor on the main menu. It doesn't take you to the information screen
Any other ideas? Having to make a new destination is so many extra presses... -Mike |

Going backtothe original question, what is the eye?
Also I don'tthink it has anything to do with the last POI search as: 1.They come up in blue 2. On my copied Nav DVD, the POI dosn't work, put the eye still appears.. Hmmm.... |
