Valentine 1 question - frequency?

I was wondering if the V1 only works in the USA? are there any limitations that would make it less effective in use in other countries? i.e weather conditions

Ummm, it depends what frequency radar guns are used in your country. I'd call Valentine Research and ask.

There's an option in setup to switch it to Euro mode, and some of the recent POP updates have been geared for Euro frequencies too. If you're on the current update, I'd think you'd be good to go by just changing the mode.

Of course detectors are illegal in most EU countries, so certainly check on those details before suction cupping it to the middle of the windshield.

Yeah the UK does not like RD's and a few other countries, along with GPS units that show you where fixed radar units are. many EU countries have outlaw any method you can use to determine where the police might be hiding. Not sure if CB radios are allow, that is the only method I think you could not stop.
