Atom Vs. T-Rex

which is faster? is the atom an electric car. i just saw the review on both 5th gear and top gear and looks very fun to drive. how much is it and estimated build date upon payment?

the ariel site doesn't allow you to make the car...

The Atom is not an electric car, you can choose from two motors, in a few different configurations. There's a GM Ecotech motor and the Honda K20 motor (Civic Si, RSX Type-S). The Honda motor is the one you want. Along with Caterham, it's probly the closest thing you'll get to an open wheel race car.

Pricing is as follows;

2.2L Ecotech - $35,000
2.4L Ecotech - $38,000
2.0L Ecotech supercharged - $40,000
2.0L Honda K20 - $40,250
2.0L Honda K20 supercharged - $45,750

Yes it does, you can fully configure a car on the site including every available option.

IIRC lead time is 3 months.

wtf i built my atom all cf parts wings, and all it is $100k ++. i really want one. can you imagine driving this with a c/f helmet with alacantra gloves and a race suit?

can you even drive these on the street of the US expecially ny and nj area lol.
