I don't think audi's were ever "bad" cars...but they're definately giving the other german car makers some competition..

Well, there is a reason why their resale value is absolute shit...they completely fall apart after the warranty is up.

looks really GOOD. It looks a lot longer in those pics but we will have to wait and see if these are close to what the final product is. Audi has some great designs right now I have to give them credit for that.

Love the look -will reserve judgement about handling and drive-line thunk (which the old/current A4s have in AWD mode) until the car comes out.

I like it a lot. For the people who really bash on Audi reliability, is it any worse than the other German cars out there? I think all have really improved dramatically over the years.

We sould our 95 S6 with 185k, still running strong. My dads RS6 has 65k+ on it and no issues.

That stretched wheelbase makes the A4 look like a long car.

Yes, I owned 2 S4's and an A4 all of which were purchased new and all of them were in the shop repeatedly within the first six months. I loved my S4's and the A4 was just okay but they aren't worth the hassle IMO.

I have heard that same assumption about all german cars. I think Audi as well as BMW have made a huge improvement over their car's long-term durability, BMW much more though. I think Mercedes is the one that is declining in this category though.

Regardless I think the upcoming A4 is a big step in the right direction for Audi.

I'll be the first to break the trend..That thing is hideous. I prefer the current one.

Luckily it must be a chop, Audi would never release something with proportions that awkward..oh wait, they did..the A5.

I think it looks nice, I wouldn't mind a 2.0T with say 230hp, quattro and dsg. As long as it doesn't become any fatter that is...
