A 1000HP M3 should demolish a Diablo which were only around 540HP.

The Modena is not really that fast of a car. Only around 350HP is I remember correctly.

In the first M3, yes.
But the second only made 415 HP via supercharger. With less mods, an E90 335i would be similar.

Ferrari 360 Modena produces 400HP, but the one in the video was modifed to produce 420HP (only 280ft-lbs torque). The Modena weighs 2844 lbs.
The M3 in the video was a supercharged version - only 415 HP.

Did some math and, just for perspective, an E92 335i modified to produce 525HP would have the same HP to weight ratio as that Modena.

Correct, 1000hp to the crank.

I saw the dyno sheet and they got about 810whp if I remember correctly.
