To be honest, all this talk about Hand being able to catch the Porsche is a moot point.
The Rahal Z4GTE was almost a full lap down with about 14 mins left in the race, it was over. IMSA called a yellow on a situation that clearly didn't call for one. They just wanted to make an exciting finish. That is the only reason Hand was able to make up an entire lap under yellow and make an attempt to win. The Porsche had too much speed any ways, whether the Ferrari got in the way or not.
Porsche was the class of the field. Very exciting to see CORE get full backing by Porsche factory. They will be a force all year.
