The only Apple products in my house are the iPod, iPhone, and the kind we eat.

Yes. In fact, I tested my iPod with the 1er before I committed to buying Orca. The Audi/VW iPod interface was so bad, I couldn't seriously considering buying one of those.

Mac is #1 for your home life, PC is #1 for the business world. That's just how it is. Mac does multimedia the best, which is fun stuff, which is home life. Try getting a Mac to hold a DSN to set the connection to a SQL database, or get it to hold the JInit conn to Oracle, so you can run your sales database queries, and you are SOL. CIM/CRM on a Mac, again, business world, again better PC.
But for home, once Mac had a PC motherboard+PC chipset, and the MacOS is based on PC-UNIX, and runs PC Windows, then Mac started selling like mad. But recommended don't do the whole Windows-hybrid bit on a business system. Any Netadmin worth his salt already knows this one. Have a PC and a IPhone, and you are all set.

Regardless, I run windows natively on my mac when I need it (which is pretty much only for gaming). I use OS X for home and business. I've been through a few macs in the last years: G4 Powermac (MDD) iBook G4 G5 Powermac 15" Powerbook G4 20" iMac G5 15" Macbook Pro (original core duo) 24" iMac (Core2Duo) Macbook Air Right now I'm running the current gen 15" unibody Macbook Pro. 2x 20" Cinema Display 1x 30" Cinema Display 1x 24" Cinema Display Currently using the 24" LED Cinema Display 3rd gen iPod iPod Video Current Gen iPod (160gb??) A few shuffles and minis (never owned a nano) 1st gen iPhone iPhone 3g (current) 2x Airport base stations 2x Airport express Tons of random apple peripherals (Oh and I have an AppleTV as well) I guess I'm considered a Fanboy. Funny enough, before I bought my first mac, I was a huge windows guy and built tons of PCs. I hated macs in the OS9 days.

In addition to my MBP, 5G iPod, 1st and 2nd Gen Touches and Apple TV, I also installed OS X on a ThinkPad T60.

Recent mac convert; and totally geeked out on it. MBP, iMac, 2 shuffles, nano, 80g iPod classic, 2 iPhones. Hope to get a new mini for media/entertainment hub for the bedroom, and I'm long over due for 3g up grade. Oh yeah I made my office switch to mac and I'm typing this on my iphone. Yeah I'm totally geeked out on mac.
