Evolve doesn't have anything special. Anyone can use WinOLS. They're talking about the A2L and OLS files, which BTW, are widely available online (Base info from Seimens? lol). Checksum corrections for thousands? any decent flash routine will correct them on the fly. you can also do it with a basic hex editor, it's a standard CRC32.

Like I said, smoke and mirrors.

Thanks hassmachine and playground. I told myself that there has to be some unique feature about them. WinOLS plus checksum corrections is hardly unique

Not bad at all!

Yeah, I gave up on the sc. I'm either gonna go with your headers and call it a day, or just wait and get a 335 or an m3 when I can afford one. $5k plus labor is too much for the gains

I don't think their tunes are necessarily bad, but Sal likes to make it sound like they've got some secret recipe nobody knows about and that they had the NSA crack the code to whatever DME you're asking them if they can tune. The reality is like everyone else, they've paid for or found the A2L/OLS and are using the same tools the rest of the industry uses.

my god

Edit: could you make any similar results without the n54 manifold just by making an update to stage 2?

I heard there was also a major flaw in their Anodized Flux Capacitor.

can you guys consider a disa delete kit? perhaps might net few hp at top end without fluctuation of the disa.

only couple of plastic cover, should be fairly easy to do.

I would if I was local. This is based on the 128i car done on the dynojet in NC. 233whp with a 3 stage and tune. According to Active, now 250whp with headers - far higher than anyone else thus far.

A N54 manifold isn't the best option, seems like it pushes volumetric efficiency to 7500rpm where as the 3 stage manifold can do the same at 6500-6800rpm.
You wouldn't gain anything. Look to adapting a M50 manifold if anything.
